The New Art Room

This week we have been to the new art room. We were working with a visiting artist John who taught us how to print using Styrofoam and paint. First we drew some large pictures of Sea Creatures on the foam and then we rolled some paint on it. After this we pressed it into a piece of paper and the magic happened! We did this several times and had some amazing results! Thank You John!

Are You Sun Smart? Shared Writing

This week we have been learning about being sunsmart with Ms Richardson. We read a sunsmart book called Under Cover Cody and the magical backpack. We learned about what sun screen was the best factor to use, to stay under the shade, to always wear a hat and to wear sunglasses in the sun. We made a backpack and filled it with sunsmart things!

Omanu's Got Talent!

Next Week we are having a Talent Fest competition and we have been busy this week watching lots of children from the junior school showing us their talents. We were very lucky to have two acts go through and perform on the stage to the other juniors. Take a look below at our wonderful ballet dancers. We are very proud of them!
